2. Key components and using the metrics in your practice

 

Setting up access for your Team

Enable access for your entire team and configure role-specific permissions. Refer to the complete instructions for setting up and managing viewers here. Below are examples for each role, outlining the appropriate level of access you may consider granting.

  • Practice Managers/ Management/ Practice Owners: Assist administrator Permission to view all metrics and settings.
  • Senior Reception/2IC: (Assist metrics)
    Permission to view all metrics but no Settings.
  • Receptionist/Administrators: (Assist-no billing data)
    Permission to view only Service Opportunities, Missed billings, My Medicare, Integrations and Quality Improvement tabs. This will hide all billing information and settings. 
  • Nurses: (Assist-no billing data)
    Permission to view only Service Opportunities, Missed billings, My Medicare, Integrations and Quality Improvement tabs. This will hide all billing information and settings.

Key components, navigation and filtering 

Here you will also find  metrics categorised into key sections:
    • Service Opportunities: Here you will find 
      1. Full access to Item 10997 metric.
      2. Full access to Medication Management review metrics.
      3. Sneak preview of all of the item optimisation metrics available in the full version of Cubiko. See how you may benefit from helping build a business case for Cubiko. We've also added the 75+ HA & 10997 for free to Cubiko Assist.
    • Practice Reporting: This tab includes key reporting metrics for insights on:
      1.  Total billings, CDM billings and Telehealth billings
      2. Appointment count
      3. New patients and Did not attend rate
    • Quality Improvement: Cubiko's Quality Improvement cabinet provides a tool for your practice team to use to participate in and complete Quality Improvement activities that are specific to your practice.

    • Billings Calculator: We have built this cabinet to let you quickly calculate a percentage (%) of a Practitioner's billings and then easily show their key billing and operational metrics on a single page as a generated personalised report.
    • Potential Missed Billings: Identify how many appointments in the last 12 months were completed where no invoice was raised with a corresponding service date. 
    • Integrations: View the available intergrations for full Cubiko. 

Using the metrics in your practice

Please see below some key metrics to get you started and how you can use these in your practice!

Item 10997

This metric shows the number of patients who are potentially eligible for a 10997. Click on the (i) for a detailed tooltip and eligibility explanation!
You can use this list for:
  • Opportunistic patient engagement - Identifying patients with upcoming appointments for 10997 services. 
  • Proactive patient engagement - Proactively looking at patient eligibility lists and booking patients in for appointments.

Medication Management Reviews (MMR)

This metric shows the number of patients who may be eligible for a Medication Management Review. Patients are eligible if they were last billed an item 900, 903, or equivalent DVA or non-VR item more than 12 months ago (irrespective of current medications), or are currently on 5+ medications

You can use this list for:
  • Opportunistic patient engagement - Identifying patients with upcoming appointments for MMR services. 

75+ Health assessment

Track the percentage of patients aged 75+ who received a health assessment in the last quarter. Use key metrics to help you set, track, measure and action your practice goal! See more information HERE!

MyMedicare

Enjoy full access to Cubiko MyMedicare metrics! This metric provides key MyMedicare metrics and actionable steps to analyse which patients are registered and could be registered! See more information HERE!

Billings calculator
