The metric shows the number of today's appointments that remain unconfirmed for patients requiring SMS confirmation.
Please note that SMS confirmation only works if settings in Zedmed are all enabled.

Access the Metric:
Navigate to Clinic Insights > Today's Clinic Metrics > Unconfirmed Appointments today.
Review the List:
Click on the metric to view the list of unconfirmed appointments.
This includes key details such as:

- Appointment Time and Duration
- Provider
- Appointment Type
Action Plan:

- Verify that SMS confirmations are enabled in Zedmed settings.
- Use the list to identify patients with unconfirmed appointments.
- Contact patients directly or re-send SMS confirmations to ensure their attendance.

Key Components and Filters:
You can filter this metric by date range, provider and appointment type. You can also sort key columns on the list to prioritise patients for contact.
- Date range - this metric defaults to showing you appointments for today, use the date range to look ahead:
- Filter via Provider and/or appointment type:
- Sort columns - Utilise the drop-down menu on each column to sort data in either ascending or descending order. For example, you can sort the "Appointment Duration" column in descending order to prioritise contacting patients with longer appointment times first.
