Unconfirmed appointments for tomorrow

This metric details how many unconfirmed appointments you have tomorrow and overlays those with a Did Not Attend (DNA) history.

This metric is great to work into your receptionist's workflow if DNAs are a concern in your practice. Navigate to this metric via Clinic Insights > Future clinic metrics  > Unconfirmed appointments for tomorrow or Clinic Optimisation > Appointment Optimisation > Unconfirmed appointments for tomorrow

The metric includes:

TOP TIP! Do you want to reduce DNAs in your practice? Have a receptionist or practice manager access this metric twice a week. Then with the list of patients, start from those with the highest DNA history and call to confirm their appointments. Ask your team to 'Add to favourites' so your reception team can find it easily.

Unconfirmed appointments by date

The unconfirmed appointments by date metric details the upcoming three days, and their date, and how many unconfirmed appointments there are. It then splits each date into the number which has a history of DNAs and those that don't.

TOP TIP! Use this metric as a visual guide to quickly see which days your team should focus on to target confirming appointments.

Unconfirmed appointments for the next three days

This metric provides a table of all unconfirmed appointments for the next three days. It includes the date, time of appointment, DNA rate (as a percentage), patient name, Practitioner, Number of DNAs in the past year, and number of appointments in the past year.

The DNA percentage is found by dividing the number of DNAs in the past 12 months by the number of total appointments in the past 12 months.

As with all tables in Cubiko, you can export and print this list. Or you can give your reception team access to this cabinet through viewer permissions. To do this, give your team access to cabinets 'Future Clinic Metrics' or 'Appointment Optimisation'.

TOP TIP! Sort this table by upcoming dates and highest DNA rate. That way your receptionists can easily prioritise those with a higher chance of not showing up to an appointment in the coming three days.
