Use this metric to identify patients where they were booked for a COVID-19 appointment type, but may be missing a billing for that service date.
NOTE: This metric is available to our Best Practice software integration customers.
This metric provides a great way to locate any missed billing opportunities for patients who were booked using a Covax appointment type (as indicated in Cubiko Settings) but have no corresponding invoice for that date of the appointment.

List of unbilled COVID-19 vaccination appointments.
On this patient list, you will find:
- The date and time they were booked in for a COVID-19 vaccine appointment type
- The patient's details
- The provider they were booked with
- The appointment type used in the booking
NOTE: Cubiko has already filtered the service date back 2 full years to ensure you have the opportunity to capture all potentially eligible services.
NOTE: A time limit of two years currently applies to the lodgement of claims with Medicare under the direct billing (assignment of benefit) arrangements. This means that currently, Medicare benefits are not payable for any service where the service was rendered more than two years earlier than the date the claim was lodged with Medicare.

Action:
With this list, you can easily review your Practice Management Software and determine (with the servicing practitioner) the suitability of processing a billing for that service date.
TOP TIP! If the provider decides to not bill for that service, but the patient was seen, you can record a no-fee invoice using a custom item number 'No Charge' on the patient's file for that service date. This will also allow you to track any no-charge consults throughout Cubiko in Past Clinic Metrics.
