Unactioned inbox items

The top figure is the number of items in the inbox that have not been actioned. The figure below highlights how many items are in the inbox that have not been actioned that are older than 7 days.

Unactioned inbox items by Practitioner

This figure counts the number of unactioned inbox items by Practitioner (aged by the time since being imported).

TOP TIP! Check this metric regularly to identify Practitioners with high numbers and/or historical unactioned inbox items. Use the filters on the page to filter the list below by practitioner, you can print this out by using the "Print Preview" feature on the page which is located on your sidebar. Press this to obtain a print preview of the page you are viewing.

List of unactioned inbox items

This list details all of the items in the inbox that have not been actioned.

The list shows

  • The item category
  • Item title (example: discharge summary, letter, blood count)
  • Import date
  • Patient details
  • Practitioner
  • Store in (Correspondence, Investigations)
  • Patient last seen date
  • Patient's next booking date

TOP TIP! Use the patient's next booked date column to identify patients who may be coming back in for results that have not yet been actioned. This will give the Practitioner an opportunity to review the results prior to the patient attending the next appointment.
