List of appointments that may not be eligible for Medicare-subsidised telehealth services
This patient list shows the details of patients who currently have appointments booked, and who may not be eligible for Medicare-subsidised telehealth services.
Their eligibility is based on whether the patient has been logged as having a face-to-face service at the practice in the past 12 months.
Use the tickbox filter Telehealth appointments only to refine this patient list to only those patients who have booked an upcoming Telehealth appointment type, as determined by your practice in our Cubiko Settings.
Cubiko is not able to determine all eligibility criteria as set out by DOH, some of the exceptions that are not included in this data set are:
- Patients who are less than 12 months old
- Patients who are currently experiencing homelessness
These patients may still be eligible for Medicare-subsidised telehealth services, though practices will need to determine whether these specific sets of patients meet these exemptions outside of Cubiko.
TOP TIP! Use this list to contact patients to let them know that they may be required to pay a fee for their Telehealth service as they do not meet the current criteria for medicare-rebate eligibility.
Appointments that may not be eligible for Medicare-subsidised telehealth services
This metric will show the number of patients who are currently booked for an upcoming appointment who do not meet the criteria as set out by DOH or are not included in our metric, as above.
Current exceptions from the rule
Things change all the time, that's why rather than listing them out for you here, we would rather direct you to the best place for you to get the latest information on the DOH website.
