Menopause Health Assessment- Item 695

See a full list of patients who may be eligible for item 695, gain insight into historical billings and proactively reach out to patients.

We’re excited to share that Clinical is now officially in Cubiko. Clinical insights have been one of our most requested features, and we’re delighted to bring them to your practice. With new dashboards and metrics, your team can access deeper clinical insights to improve patient care and make data-driven decisions with confidence.

Cubiko’s NEW Menopause metrics highlight patients who may be eligible for the new MBS item 695.

Based on clinical coding, billing history and age criteria, these metrics help the practice team identify and support women experiencing premature ovarian insufficiency, early menopause, perimenopause or menopause.

Please note, the age brackets filter has been set to include only women aged 45-55 by default.

Use this metric to quickly identify potentially eligible patients, be proactive in patient care and maximise billing opportunities in your practice.

Important note:
All viewers require access to Clinical permissions to use this dashboard.

Cubiko extracts clinical data to help practice teams improve patient outcomes. Granting this permission allows the viewer to see clinical data in tables, charts, and filters where applicable.

👉 See how to grant Clinical permissions HERE!

Please note, this metric is only available to our Best Practice software integration customers.

Practice managers, Receptionist and Nurses can use this metric weekly to:

  • Identify the number of patients who may be eligible for item 695
  • Gain insight into possible item 695 billings your practice can generate
  • Access a list of potentially eligible patients, to proactively reach out to and book appointments.

Important: This metric is intended for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for independent clinical judgment. Clinical decisions must always remain the responsibility of the treating practitioner. Always verify patient information in your practice’s PMS before taking action.

To navigate to this metric, go to Clinic Optimisation > Item Optimisation > Item 695

Using the metric and data in your practice

Applying any filters:

Using your filters on the left-hand side, or by customising the table itself, will allow you to set the data to your preference!

TOP TIP:  You may want to focus on patients with no appointment booked, as upcoming appointment item 695 opportunities will be captured in Possible Service Opportunities Today cabinet.

You can then narrow the list down further by focusing on other filters that you may want to apply, including Ethnicity, MyMedicare registration, RACGP activite patients, or by specific possible menopause symptoms.

You may choose to include custom clinical conditions to allow selection of non-hard-coded conditions from the filters above that reference conditions. Enabling this filter may impact load times. Enabling this filter will allow you to find instances where a condition has not been hard-coded.

Exporting patient list (and potentially sending a bulk SMS communication):

After applying the filters you wish to set, you can then export this list!

Exporting the list is as easy as pressing the download button, where you can then export it as a CSV or Excel spreadsheet!

Download as a CSV file, ensuring to include the Internal ID, which can be used by third-party software applications (such as Automed and HotDoc) to send a bulk SMS to these patients! For a full guide on the steps, please see Guide to downloading a .CSV filter from Cubiko

TOP TIP! If third-party software applications are not used in your practice, you can download patient contact details to view the phone number and email address of the patient within Cubiko, using the three dots:

Then use the 'Actions' column for team tracking and reporting responses/ status:
