Will Cubiko impact the speed of my internet or server?
Performance
Cubiko uses a client on your Practice server to query your Practice Management Software. When supported this client is provided by [Halo](https://haloconnect.io/), otherwise, a generic Microsoft tool is used. We only sync small pieces of data from select tables within Best Practice. This data is synced once per night to avoid impacting the operations of the practice.
Bandwidth
The initial data sync is conducted over several nights to avoid having any impact on practice operations. Syncing typically occurs between 8pm and 6am local time.
The time required and amount of data transfer will depend on the size of your practice. Bandwidth usage scales with available bandwidth so the impact should be minimal. After the initial sync, Cubiko will upload on average less than 10MB per sync.
