Will having Cubiko impact the speed of my internet?
Performance
Cubiko uses a Microsoft client to query the Best Practice server via SQL. We only sync small pieces of data from select tables within Best Practice. This data is synced twice per night to avoid impacting on the operations of the practice.
Bandwidth
The initial data sync is conducted over several nights to avoid having any impact on practice operations. Syncing typically occurs between 8pm and 6am local time. The time required and amount of data transfer will depend on the size of your practice. Bandwidth usage scales with available bandwidth so the impact should be minimal. After the initial sync, Cubiko will upload on average less than 10MB per sync.
