Telehealth billings

Find out what proportion of your total gross billings come from Telehealth item numbers

This metric shows you the gross value of billings generated from Telehealth consults and what percentage of total billings came from Telehealth consults.

To navigate to this metric, go to Summary > Summary of billings at the Practice > Telehealth billings

TOP TIP! This metric can provide an understanding of any specific Practitioners who have seen a reduction in their income since commencing telehealth, perhaps these Practitioners have a high rate of telehealth appointments and are not fully utilising the replacement MBS numbers for those patients who are eligible for telehealth services.

Telehealth billings

This metric shows you the gross value of billings generated from Telehealth consults (phone and video) and what percentage of total billings came from Telehealth consults.

Telehealth appointment count and billings by Practitioner

This metric shows you the gross billings generated by each practitioner and the number of Telehealth billings completed and billed for the selected time period.

You can change the view on this graph using the Show as drop-down box on the right-hand side of the metric to change to view % of total billings and the number of Telehealth billings completed and billed for the selected time period.

TOP TIP! Use this metric to see which Practitioners are billing the most number of Telehealth consultations at your practice.

Billing by type of consult

This metric tells you what percentage of billings were face-to-face consults, Telehealth (video), and Telephone consults over the selected time period.

 

TOP TIP! Use this metric to see the percentage of billings that were for face-to-face in comparison to Telephone and Telehealth. This can help you keep track of the increase or decrease in face-to-face appointments in your practice during the selected time period.

Use the date filter to compare data during covid lockdowns and/or restrictions and compare with the practice total billings during the same periods to help keep track of any increase/decrease in revenue that was a result of limited face-to-face consultations.

Appt count by type of consult

This metric tells you what percentage of appointments with patients were face-to-face consults, Telehealth/Telephone appointments over the selected time period.

Trend of Telehealth billings

This trend graph shows both your telehealth billings value and the percentage of total billings from telehealth for the selected time period over time. 

You can switch views on the graph using the Show as drop-down box on the right-hand side of the metric.

Non Telehealth appointments with Telehealth billings

This metric shows you a list of Non-Telehealth appointment types (as set up in your Cubiko Settings), which were billed as a Telehealth item number.

TOP TIP! Use this list to review any patterns of appointment types being billed as Telehealth items but not being booked as a Telehealth consultation appointment type.
