TOP TIP! Is this figure lower than expected for some of the practitioners? Are the doctors forgetting to bill certain item numbers? This may prompt a further review of billings. An example of this could be item 10997 – often forgotten when billing a 732 and the nurse was involved in the collection of information to support GP/medical practitioner review the Care Plan. Use our metric "Potential 10997 opportunities" to find appointments with your nurses where a 10997 may have been performed but not billed.
